The Khun Tan Mission Cabins (Yaw 3*)
Vision
Provide beautiful, safe, and convenient camping that refreshes visitors and fosters love for God's creation.

Description
The Khun Tan Mission Cabins (Yaw 3*) are 6 newly renovated rustic cabins and tent-camping area located on 13 rai near the top of Khun Tan Mountain in the middle of Khun Tan National Park. They are operated by Payap University, and owned by the Foundation of the Church of Christ in Thailand.
The site is accessible by walking trail only (about a 5 km walk), and thus is suitable for real nature-lovers, school and youth groups, and those who desire deep refreshment from the beauty of lush forest.
The original cabins were built by Presbyterian missionaries working in Lampang in the early 1900s, and have been in use continuously since that time by missionaries, mostly in April, to escape the heat; and by student groups throughout the year. In 2003 Payap University began renovating the cabins, preserving their charm and beauty, while making the site useable by larger groups of students, and more appealing to the public.

*"Yaw" refers to a strategic point, and there are 4 Yaw in the park:
ย  ย Yaw 1 is the site of the original home of the German engineer who helped with building the Khun Tun railway tunnel.
ย  ย Yaw 2 is the site of a former vacation home of statesman M.L. Kukrit Pramote.
ย  ย Yaw 3 is the site of the Mission Cabins of Payap.
ย  ย Yaw 4 is the top of Khun Tan mountain.
